I’m a designer with over 28 years’ experience in providing creative design solutions.

Across that time I’ve worked in many sectors – exhibitions and trade shows, retail and experiential, heritage and museums – designing both interiors and exteriors, and working closely with in-house teams, design agencies and contractors.

I have a wealth of experience in all aspects of a project: from offering initial thoughts and ideas to a brief through to, full CAD design and visualisation, sourcing props, getting build estimates and project managing the job to site.

I’ve been freelance and working as part of a team with external suppliers and contributors for over 17 years, and have long-term relationships with businesses and brands all over the world – who rely on my creative thinking, problem-solving ability, commitment, dedication and attention to detail.

My focus and passion is providing unique, successful design solutions for my clients, based on all elements outlined in their brief: delivering functional, creative designs on time, on budget… and with a ‘wow’ factor. I’m flexible and adaptable – no budget is too small and no space is too tricky!

Five fun facts about me

  • I care passionately about repurposing and reusing. I make crafts by up-cycling materials and objects that have fulfilled their first use, giving them a second lease of life – such as reusable sandwich wraps made from old shirts, personalised bunting made from recycled curtains, lights made from bottles, cards, jewellery, doorstops and more!
  • I love being active in my local community. I established and promote an annual non profit ‘Market Trail’ in the village where I live, raising funds for the local primary school; I’m a member of our Parochial Church Council and help run our local Sunday School; I’m on the PTA committee of my child’s primary school; and I volunteer for our village’s speed awareness team.
  • Any free time I get away from my desk is usually spent running in the countryside, dancing (I go to adult ballet classes) or enjoying our local gym & spa. I’m also an avid film-watcher and podcast-listener (favourites include How to Fail, Kermode and Mayo Film review, Book go the year).
  •  I’m married to Mark, who’s a builder, expedition leader and retained firefighter. And I’m mum to my little girl Bebe, who is a tween.
  • As a family we love camping and enjoying family-friendly music festivals. We also never miss an opportunity to dress up!
